Happy Hearts Day Everyone! I know you are all busy with your dates, Naks! Good for you! 🙂 But if you don’t have any dates on Valentine’s Day, don’t worry  dear, you’re not alone. You have me! ayiee! 🙂 So don’t frown yourself to depression. It’s not the end of the world. There’s a lot of things that we can  do other than stalking pictures of couples on social media sites. After all, V’day in this modern age doesn’t revolve around them.
Come on, Cheer Up! It’s love month! We can have some quality time with our friends, colleagues and family. As what the movie “Love Actually” say Love Actually is EVERYWHERE! Still not convinced??? Let me tell you my story…
When I was in second year high school, I am one of those people who bitterly welcome February 14. You know teenage puppy love years. Where teddy bears and chocolates are pouring everywhere in school, but not in my hands. That’s Chocolates! Who can’t be bitter not having chocolates??? My Anti-Valentine’s year lasted until my senior year. That year, I finally understand what Valentine means and when me and my cousins planned our yearly Valentine Dates. (I don’t have pictures from wayback since digicam was not yet invented at that time. However, I’ll give you a run through of our recent Valentine Dates).
Last February 14, 2009, we invade Eastwood Agave to celebrate both Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year.
And munch over Mexican Foods.
This was taken at Toyz Experience and Elbow Room last February 14, 2011. And was our most unforgettable Valentine’s experience.
While it started with a worst dinner, I’m happy that it ended up nicely  because  of chips, music, and some beers.
Our recent Valentine’s Date was last February 14, 2012 at Murray & D’vine in the Fort.
We had a big bite of this heart shaped burger along with a zip of refreshing fruit juices.
I know you’ll notice that we were not complete on this V’date, some of my cousins have been busy with work and school.
We don’t have Valentine’s date this year, because we celebrated it at my cousins house, where our family’s relative have her b’day bash that unfortunately fall on Valentine’s day. And we see each other often because of family gatherings so we don’t plan anything. We have a big family so we have a monthly? wait! weekly? celebration.
We always enjoy Valentine’s Day now, because we can plan our night outs and  try something new. While some of my cousins were married now and have found their prince charming, we always make it a point that we have each other on Valentine’s day, whether we go out to celebrate it or celebrate it in someone’s house.
Are you convince now? 😉
