I always love to volunteer. To do things that will make other people happy– joining outreach, playing with street children and orphans, and joining relief operations. You know, it’s very heartwarming when you see joy in their faces and it’s nice that you have done something to somehow ease their burden.
That’s why, when I have read on Facebook last Friday that my former school was calling on alumnus, students, teachers, and staff to donate some old clothes, canned goods, blankets, water and rice for the victims of “HABAGAT”, I immediately donated my old clothes and help in repacking these donations.

As we all know, Pasig City was one of the cities that has been greatly affected by “Habagat”. In fact, up until now, some of the houses there was still submerged by flood. Letting residents spend days in evacuation centers. Like what you can see in the photo, they still need a lot of care, sympathy and help.
I hope that you will also take action and help these people. I know you will. Because I know, that you know, that when you help someone, you will not just change their life, you will also give them hope and strength to start their life again. 🙂
