Since my father is in Boracay during today’s salubong, My mom and I decided to prepare a few number of foods for media noche. It’s actually our first time to welcome new year here in the city. Well, Most of the time we are in our aunt’s house in Laguna.
But, I am glad we did it here because I have experience a lot of stuff like moving around in our terrace looking on a big number of fireworks being lightened on our streets. It is huge that thick smokes are suffocating our face and the smell pass through our nose making us hold our breath. And join kids in blowing trumpets to add up to the noise of 2013 countdown.
It’s different as in Laguna you will just watch fireworks in the sky not knowing who lighten it up. And see cars pressing their horns while moving to our street.
Though one thing is the same: my favorite thing to do and I’m still believing on it–Jump high when the countdown ticks to 1 while holding coins inside my pockets making noise out of it. You know, a lot of people say that when you jump and make noise out of coins in your pocket you will get taller and luck in money will follow you through. Of course, eating foods on our media noche. What was even fun than that. None. 🙂
Maybe, We all have different ways on how we celebrate new year but for us we celebrate each new year’s of our lives–WITH A SMILE!!! 🙂
