They say high school is the best time you could ever have? There, you meet friends and explore a lot of things on being a teenager. But it’s a different story for me. In high school I meet bullies, there, they have tried different things to hurt me. Unintentional? Maybe.
I remember very well, when I was in high school, my classmates would mock me different things like ‘teacher’s pet’, ‘ugly’, ‘a big joke’ and try to get my chair when they have no seat to take. I don’t know why they do that, were they insecure? were they envious because I get good grades? Everyday they’ve tried to hurt my feelings. And everyday I cried. Yes, In high school, I cried a lot.
That time, I, myself, felt insecure and began to have a low self-esteem. I eat alone, I look down upon entering the classroom because I was afraid. I doubt myself, and I let myself be quiet.
Looking back on those things, I pity myself, I don’t deserve that, and nobody deserves to be treated that way. So, I promised myself that I will not be a bully, I would not allow myself to be just like them-pathetic and insecure. Instead, I will fight bullies and protect the people from being bullied.
