Rainy Day Essentials

Posted on September 17, 2013 | by karenmeetsworld | Category: Karen's Favorites

Sorry for being so idle. I’ve been sick these past few days because of the bad weather and I need to rest to regain my strength. But, now that I’m back on track! I’ll be voicing out loud again on the web. Hehe 🙂 We are in the rainy season here in Manila. And it is really important for us to have kits that keep us dry and protected whenever we go out of our office or house. So, I’ll share with you my top Seven Rainy Day Essentials:

1. Umbrella I’m not really used to bring umbrella with me, because I have the tendency to lose it. I don’t know, I just seem to forget where I put it whenever I bring one, since hindi nga ako sanay. But, when I started working, with meetings “left and right” outside the office, I required myself to have it everyday. It’s quite embarrassing if I will always borrow diba? Especially in times like this, Umbrella is my ultimate savior.

2. Jacket My body has low tolerance to cold temperature, so I wear jacket. Practically speaking, rainy season is not an excuse to be out of fashion, our jackets can be a big staple too. We can choose in different colors neon to bold along with a cute polo underneath for an accent. So, we can still be comfy and stylish all through out the day.

3. Rain Coat For those who really feel awkward in bringing an umbrella with them. You have another option, Rain Coats! Hooray! It can protect ourselves and our things while walking under the pouring rain. Talk about “playing in the rain”. Ohh Childhood Days.

4. Beanie Whenever I see Beanies I remember “Snow”. Sadly, we don’t have it here in the Philippines, but I am glad that we can use Beanie to protect our head from the 16 degree Celsius centralized office air-condition during rainy season.  Say ‘NO’ for headache! Am I right?

5. Water Proof Bags My books and gadget’s BFF! It is always important to protect my favorite things on this type of weather.

6. Vitamin C. I’m acidic, but I need to have a strong immune system so I drink “Royale-C”.  I know, all of you have an idea on how Important Vitamin C is to our body. So, you must take one capsule a day for a boost.

7. Boots Are the cutest. They are my ultimate buddy against floods. It can keep my feet from the dirty water surface run-off and the diseases that I can get from it.
