After I have finished reading “The Fault in our Stars by John Green” I dropped some of my books, closed my ibooks and start reading Wattpad stories. Wattpad stories were not written by great authors/writers. It was written by individuals who have passion with writing stories in different genres: romance, fiction, horror, fantasy, etc. and in different languages, but was not given an opportunity to published their own real books because of high costs.
But, that’s not the case here in Wattpad. Each aspiring writers were free to share their stories, get high votes, good comments, gain friends online and recognition through an award, free story publications (this is a big opportunity if your story was really a big hit!)
I tried Wattpad last year and become a full time reader. Truly, you can get attached to those stories that you read and feel their emotion through your veins (okay, I’m exaggerating) but you’ll know what I mean once you read one.
As I go along with different writers, I could say, they were really good. I could even nominate to produce their writings in a series if I have money. Those writers know what will clicked to the Masses.
I then, remember the time when I once wrote a 250-page script (and when the diskette broke) The world collapsed with me… From that point, I could not find or even see myself writing stories again. Wattpad change my views. Last year, I started writing a story and become a secret writer. Hehe You know you’re doing great when they start pressuring you to update often as you could. But that’s where the challenge starts. They motivate you to keep going and avoid delays. In short Procrastination is not allowed here. So without further ado, I’ll now start updating my story. Hehe Do you have stories in Wattpad too? Send me their titles and I’ll be more than willing to read them.
Toodles. 🙂
