The month of February marks not only of “Valentine’s Day” but also signals birthdays in the family– especially, my niece, Callie. We drove to Sta. Rosa Estates in Laguna to celebrate Callie’s second birthday. Woohoo! This is a special one, since it’s her first time to celebrate her birthday in the neighborhood with her friends and family. Actually, my cousin Merlene (left) wanted her daughter’s birthday to be a “kids fun day” so she gets the children’s ultimate friend Jollibee to cater the event.
Being an interior designer herself, my cousin who is also the owner of Creative Minds designs the whole event: from the invitations, giveaways, centerpieces, venue, ballooning to the candy corner. I love the synchronization of colors and the playfulness of the designs that I cannot help but to take picture of myself at the welcoming banner.
My ultimate favorite is the candy corner. I can stay up to this corner all throughout the event and just eat these different kinds of sweets like what Hanzel and Gretel do to the candy house, without the presence of the witch of course. We do not have one here on this corner. 😉
Grabe, this simple celebration is indeed both a “kids day” and a “family day”. Ang saya saya namin talaga! 🙂 🙂
Umingay ang stage at Dinumog si Hetty at Jollibee sa mga palarong bidang bida sa mga bagets like “bring me”; “Jollidance craze”– pinagandang tawag sa stop dance. Hahaha the fashion show (which we all laugh hardly) and etc. The emcee did well in entertaining us; para kaming nasa wholesome comedy bar. Siyempre kailangan in moderation because of “the kids”. XD
A BIG shout out to my cousin who put together her daughter’s birthday celebration! Clap! Clap! 🙂 And to my niece, I hope you will grow as a witty and good girl. We are always here for you. <3 <3 <3
