Last Day in Cebu!

Posted on May 19, 2013 | by karenmeetsworld | Category: Travel Adventures

On our last day in Cebu, we headed to Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant to indulge ourselves with foods. Huling hirit na namin to kaya we make sure that we’re eating everything we want. We ordered pancit, calamares, pork sisig, grilled pork and chicken, java&plain rice and lantaw cooler as refreshment. It’s around 2:30 in the afternoon,  the sun was really screaming and our mouth was requesting for a refresher, so horray for a lantaw cooler. While waiting for our orders to arrive, my friends and I decided to tour around the place and we’re like “Woah! a modernized native floating restaurant”, we were actually expecting wooden carved furniture all over the place being it literally a native restaurant. But we’re wrong they have this  sleek metal multi-seater sofa with green cushions/pillows which makes the place more adorbs! Oh! add to it the fresh air, and a nice view. So, that’s my afternoon overview of the place. What more, if we’re able to  eat dinner here instead: I could imagine myself feel kilig with the lights and the ambiance (so alam niyo na, gabi kayo pumunta, because the place was more alive at night). After 30 minutes of waiting, the food finally arrived. Wala munang pansinan while eating… hahaha  Aaaangsarap ng food nila talaga! iba talaga ang lutong Cebu, especially their porks! Other Cebu Tourist can attest to that! diba? diba? 🙂

After our munch-lunch, we headed to Mactan Shrine, this was our last stop because it was just near the airport and kayang-kaya libutin in 15minutes. When we got there, my classmates the Going Bulilit kids were shooting around the area for their episode, so it was crowded with their fans. hehe

Last chance: If you forgot to buy some souvenirs during your stay there, don’t fret! because you can still buy it in Mactan Shrine, there were a lot of souvenir shops all over the place, so you were still good before you head towards the airport.  🙂

The hardest part of travelling was saying goodbye to the people who took good care of us during our 4-day stay. Surely, I will miss them especially the kids. But we have to move forward and get ahead.  🙂
