Whew! I’ve had a busy weekend at home! On both Saturday and Sunday, I worked on a project for a client that I haven’t got the chance to go online and write this post on-time. My only escape was covering “DΞΔN 130 Mood: TRBL in Manila” at SM North Skydome.
“DΞΔN 130 Mood: TRBL in Manila” was DΞΔN’s first EP album promotional tour brought by MCA Music, Smart, SM North Skydome, Marco Polo Ortigas, and Astroplus. The meaning of ‘130’ was kind of symbol of James Dean and ‘TRBL‘ means ‘Trouble’ which comes from DΞΔN’s nickname ‘DΞΔN Trouble‘. The whole album was in reverse order of one man’s love story, from falling in love with a 21-year-old girl to suffering a heartbreak.
Rebels Got in TRBL at SM North Skydome
SM Skydome was an event venue with 1,500 seating capacity. It’s the globe shaped entertainment hall near the SM North Mall. I think it’s a perfect venue for intimate shows like fan meeting, mall tours, and showcases. Everyone was like a VIP on this venue. You can see artist up close without the need to use a binocular telescope.
Actually, by the time we got inside, me along with our amazing photographers Kuya Pat and Benedict looked for area to get a nice shot of the whole performance. I was at the second level floor along with other fellow bloggers and photographers while Kuya Pat and Benedict were at the vvip-moshpit area.
The event started at around 5 o clock with opening acts of Krissy and DJ Church and Bless. Rebels (DΞΔN’s fandom name) sang along with Krissy’s “12:51″song and dance along with DJ Church and Bless music mixes.
Rebels loud screams, upbeat songs, and coordinated stage light movements, signaled the start of DΞΔN’s performance. He performed his 130 Mood: TRBL title tracks “Put My Hands on You”, “21”, “What 2 Do”, “Half Moon”, “I’m Not Sorry”, and “Pour Up”.
The whole show was amazing! DΞΔN was really good looking and his melodic genuine voice can make you blush. You can watch his performance on the video below and I’ll let you decide for yourself. 🙂
