My cousins and I head to Wooden Spoon in Rockwell today for dinner. It’s been a long time since we had this bonding. We see each other often yes! but we don’t hang out much. So, this dinner meant a lot for us. We shared a lot of stories up our sleeves from life-work-love life. That lots’, that a few hours is not enough. Thank God it is okay to talk at the table (just not when your mouth is full). hehe
Wooden Spoon is a Filipino Restaurant owned by Chef Sandy Daza. It caters popular Filipino cuisine with a twist. Curious about the twist? Get your stomach ready and take the taste of their dishes. It’s hard to define but the twist gives me that feeling of me being home but travels my taste buds to different places. I apologize for not being able to take food photos though, we were so excited to eat every single plate that we couldn’t think of taking one. But, we ordered Stirred Fried Kangkong, Sinigang Salmon Belly, Baked Chicken, Beef Stew, Steamed White Rice, and Crab Pancit. Ohhh!!! That Crab Pancit and Baked Chicken are my favorite. And I read too that those two are Wooden Spoon’s specialties. My taste buds know so well what’s good and what’s not. Kidding! hehe So, you know what to order now when you get there with your family or barkada! Wink! Wink!
Empty Plates show Happy Stomach. 🙂
That’s it for now, we will go to Starbucks for desserts. 🙂
